Excellent traditional house with three floors and pink façade. The Pink House is built into a group of houses at the limit of a little village, Marinyà, one of the little populated areas of "La Tallada de l'Empordà". In front of the house there is a 80 sqm solarium/garden with swimming pool, kitchen, toilet and barbecue area.

This house has a 300 sqm layout within 3 floors in all big and well illuminated areas. Bottom floor has 4 bedrooms and three full equipped bathrooms. First floor has a living room, a dinning room, a kitchen, the last bedroom and a full bathroom. Finally, the top floor his a chillout zone with a football table.

Both, the building structure and fixed wooden furniture, were designed and refurbished by the previous owner, who is a carpenter. During 2016, the current owners have refurbished The Pink House with delightful modern details. Final outcome is a extremely pleasant and comfortable house, as you may notice by the pictures.

On the ground floor you will find 4 rooms. You will find a bedroom on your left and another one on your right; both of them arranged to perfection. They both have en suite bathrooms (one of them with a bathtub) and flat screen televisions as well as modern, cosy decorations. Further down the hallway, you find the last two bedrooms on the ground floor. The first one has a double bed and a single bed, also with an en suite bathroom. The second one has a bunk bed and is suited for children. The remaining room of the ground floor, which provides two single beds, of course with the possibility of joining them into one double bed. The first floor ends in a stylishly arranged chill-out area with open roof to the third floor.

On the first floor, there is a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a dining room. The living room is arranged in a very cosy mood, with the owner paying attention into every single detail. The living room has a large couch as well as two, comfortable chairs, all pointing towards the flat screen TV and the fireplace. The kitchen has everything you will need and probably even more. Here, you will also find a balcony with a view of the quiet street and the hangout area, which belongs to the house.

The second floor does nothing but add to the streak of excellent quality. The open area is lit up by the sunlight through the open-and-closable panorama-windows. Facilities, such as table football, bar, music system, various chairs and of course the large couch, all contributes to creating the perfect chill-out environment. Not to mention the spectacular view from the largeterrace in connection with the room. Grab a glass, fill it with whatever you like, lie down on the couch and enjoy the Catalan sun setting behind the mountains in the distance. This room is no different from the others in terms of decoration; it is decorated in a very fashionable and impressive manner.

The previous owner of the house was a professional carpenter, organizing and decorating for recognized brands – this is greatly reflected in the tasteful home. In addition to this, to keep up with the incredible level of the holiday home, a wonderful, private BBQ area with asmall pool and a lovely conected kitchen. This is situated just tree steps across the village street. Enjoy a book, as you watch the children playing in the pool - the possibilities for relaxation as well as activities are endless. This holiday home is definitely able to create the perfect vacation-atmosphere.

  Late check-in: 30 € additional cost if your arrival is later than 21 h (VAT included)

Within check-in, the remaining accommodation cost will be paid in cash along with 500 € as a property damage deposit and additional 350 € for the cleaning service (VAT included). Damage deposit is refundable when keys are returned and no damage is found.

Excluding tourist tax and cleaning service cost:

  • 1.700 €/week (243 €/night): January, April, November and December.
  • 1.900 €/week (272 €/night): May, June, September and October.
  • 2.500 €/week (358 €/night): July.
  • 3.500 €/week (500 €/night): August.
  • 450 €/day: Christmas-New Year's Eve, Holly week, St. Joan and some long weekends.

Tourist tax

According a specific regulation of Catalonia government, will come into effect an overnight tourist tax for accommodations in Catalonia from November 1st, 2012 per person, which is not included in the price. Maximal cost of this tax is the equivalent to 7 consecutive nights per person. This tax will not be applied for children under the age of 17 and will be paid at the arrival to the apartment. Location

Marenyà is one of the four populated areas of the municipality of "La Tallada de l'Empordà", in the region of "Baix Empordà" (Girona province). Distances away from: Girona (35 km), Figueres (25 km), France -Le Perthus- (54 km) and Barcelona (135 kms). Costa Brava more wild beaches (the northern ones) are just 12 km away from The Pink House. Empuries greco-roman archaeological is 12 km away as well.

La Tallada de l'Empordà municipality is made up of 4 little villages: Tor, Canet de la Tallada, Marenyà and La Tallada de l'Empordà. Older remains from IIIrd-IInd centuries BC are in Marenyà. In this villages there is an interesting cultural heritage. Stands up the romanic churches of Marenyà, La Tallada and Tor, the gothic church of St. Mateu de Canet, as well as the medieval fortified enclosure of La Tallada de l'Empordà.

In a relaxed and natural surrounding, from Marenyà is easy to arrive to the beaches of Empordà and Costa Brava, as well as to visit the Empordà marshland. Tennis or golf is possible to be practised just 15 km away from Marenyà.
